During the tour, you will be able to get acquainted with the history of the Poltava Battle, where archeological monuments have been preserved, and important military battles took place during the XIV–XX centuries: the episode of the battle of Grand Duke Vytautas of Lithuania on the Vorskla (1399), the final stage of the battle of Vyhovskyi – Pushkar (1658), the Poltava Battle (1709), operation Frantic (1944).
During the tour you can visit:
- monuments of the Field of Poltava Battle: to Swedes from their compatriots, to Swedes from Russians, obelisks at places of redoubts of the Moscow army, the memorial sign at place of the command post of Peter I on the territory of the second fortified camp of the Moscow army;
- museum campus: the Mass Grave of soldiers of the Moscow army, the Chapel of Saints Peter and Paul, Sampsoniivska Church, the Memorial Rotunda in honor of the fallen participants of the Poltava Battle, the Monument to Peter I;
- Poltava Battle History Museum.
The museum tour ticket – 440 UAH (per one group) + admission charge (for a group of up to 25 persons).
